Growing Together: Inside Our Kids Garden Club
There’s something magical about watching children connect with nature. Digging in the soil, discovering tiny creatures, and proudly caring for something they planted themselves. That spirit is exactly what makes our Kids Garden Club such a special experience for families.
At our most recent garden club gathering, one parent shared:
“Austin had such a great time helping with the garden beds and hasn’t stopped talking about it! Especially the worms he found! You do such an incredible job with the kids and it’s clear how much they enjoy learning from you. Your energy and patience really make it a special experience for them.”
Moments like these are why this club was created.

What Is Kids Garden Club?
Kids Garden Club is a welcoming, hands-on program where children attend alongside a caregiver to explore gardening together. Designed to inspire curiosity, confidence, and connection, each gathering gives families the opportunity to slow down, get their hands dirty, and enjoy meaningful time outdoors.
We meet bi-weekly (mostly) from April through October, with additional sign-up dates added throughout the season.
Each session includes:
· Planting and caring for garden beds
· Learning about flowers, vegetables, pollinators, and soil
· Nature-based crafts and activities
· Exploring insects, worms, and the tiny ecosystems in the garden
· Opportunities for children and caregivers to learn side-by-side
Some garden tools are supplied, though families are always welcome to bring their own.

More Than Gardening
While children are learning how plants grow, they’re also building patience, responsibility, and confidence. They learn by doing and being actively involved in watering seedlings, pulling weeds, harvesting vegetables, and celebrating the small discoveries that happen naturally in the garden.
For many kids, the excitement comes from unexpected moments such as spotting a butterfly, finding worms beneath the soil, tasting something freshly picked, or simply getting muddy while exploring the outdoors.
For caregivers, it’s a chance to unplug from busy schedules and create lasting memories together.

Kids Garden Club is about more than gardening; it’s about building a connection to the natural world and to one another. Every session creates space for curiosity, creativity, and community.
Whether your child is already a little gardener or simply loves being outside, all experience levels are welcome.
