Calling all Great Bay lovers & people people!

Share your passion for Great Bay by becoming a volunteer educator. We’ll provide training, work with your schedule, and promise you—it will be a lot of fun!

• Volunteer educators work with small groups to share the wonder of the bay and its fascinating history. School programs are weekday mornings, April through June and September through November.  Spring focuses on natural history and Fall focuses on cultural history. Spring 2026 training is April 2nd, all day, with lunch provided.  See the flyer for more info and email Melissa with questions and the register.
  
• Exhibit room facilitators  work at our Discovery Center, where many people learn what makes the bay so special. You’ll greet visitors, help with the discovery tank, and answer questions. Shifts are available Tuesday through Saturday, 10am-1pm or 1–4pm, May through October, with limited winter hours.  Training is April 6th, 2026 9-11:30am.  See the flyer for more info and email Melissa to register for training or with any questions.
