Rachel Stevens

Stewardship Coordinator & Wildlife Ecologist

Rachel manages the lands within our Reserve’s boundaries and works with partners to protect land around Great Bay. She also develops habitat science products to help others prioritize resource protection and restoration.

She has particularly enjoyed working with partners to develop geospatial tools to inform invasive species removal, assessing marsh resilience, and planning trails in a wildlife friendly way. Rachel also works extensively with colleagues at New Hampshire Fish and Game to protect the native biodiversity of the state we love.

Before coming to the Reserve, Rachel worked as a private consultant, environmental educator, and a wildlife research technician. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Zoology from the University of Bristol, England, and a Master of Science in Natural Resources and Wildlife from the University of New Hampshire.
