The Great Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve is a partnership between New Hampshire Fish and Game and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). As required by the Coastal Zone Management Act, every Reserve around the country has to develop or update a management plan every five years. The Great Bay NERR 2020-2025 Draft Management Plan articulates our five-year goals and objectives for our Education, Research, Stewardship, Volunteer and Training Programs. The 2020 plan will replace the last approved Management Plan for GBNERR, which was published in 2007 (download the 2007 plan).
This Plan is now available for public comment. A public meeting was held at 6PM February 24 (download the summary presentation).
