National Estuaries Week

Celebrate Great Bay Estuary with Great Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve!  National Estuaries Week, a time to celebrate the importance of estuaries and all they give to us, is just around the corner, and we have a fun week planned.  Each weekday, September 21st through the 25th, we will have a different event to help us enjoy and honor Great Bay.  Art, science, nature, and more…there is something for everyone!

The events are all free and open to the public, but registration is required because of limited space.  See our calendar below, which includes short descriptions and a handy key! There is also a list of registration links for programs that require registration. Please contact Melissa if you have any questions.

• Baywalk, Monday 9/21, 1:30-3pm, 12 person limit
• Estuary Art, Tuesday 9/22, 1:30-3pm, 12 person limit
• Science Walk, Wednesday 9/23, 3:30-5pm, 12 person limit
• Science Walk, Thursday 9/24, 4-5:30pm, 12 person limit
• Volunteer Workday, Friday 9/25, 10:30am-12:30pm, 12 person limit
• The Grab N Go kits, Discovery Center visits, Scavenger Hunts, and Dip in the Bay do not require registration
