Bayview Lecture: Commerce and Industry on the Great Bay, David Maloney
Soon after the arrival of the Europeans in the 1600’s, the Great Bay became a center of commerce and industry. Grist mills, sawmills, textile mills, brickyards and shipyards sprang up around the towns of Exeter, Newmarket and Durham. This presentation will discuss the commerce and industry up to the early 1900’s.
Lecture will be virtual via Zoom. Please contact Melissa with any questions. Lecture will be recorded and posted to our YouTube channel for those that can’t attend.
