Sea Level Rise Affecting Marshes Modeling (SLAMM): Updated Results for NH
1 – 2pm, Wednesday, March 8, 2023
Register to join the zoom meeting here
Description
SLAMM (Sea Level Affecting Marshes Model) is a GIS-based tool that projects how salt marshes may respond to sea-level rise. The model predicts long term shoreline and habitat class changes as a function of land elevation, tide range, sea-level rise, and other environmental factors
During this informal webinar, we will share results from the recently updated NH SLAMM analysis, which are now available on Coastal Viewer and GRANIT. The webinar will include time for questions and discussion about methods, results and applications.
Presenters:
Katie Callahan, GIS Specialist, NH Fish and Game
Rachel Stevens, Wildlife Ecologist and Stewardship Coordinator, Great Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve, NH F&G
Cory Riley, Manager, Great Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve, NH F&G
