Each year, the Research Team conducts months of fieldwork. From May through October, staff, volunteers, interns, and partners collect hundreds of data points across the Reserve for multiple programs. For the first time, we’re excited to share a closer look at some of the season’s highlights in our inaugural issue of GBNERR Research and Monitoring Highlights. This issue features key findings from each of our 2024 monitoring programs. From fiddler crabs to salt marsh vegetation, you’ll learn about the species we monitor, how we collect our data, and what we’ve observed so far. Happy reading!
