Katie McGovern
Research Assistant
Katie is a member of the Great Bay research team and supports monitoring and research efforts at the Reserve. She assists with field work relating to science and stewardship of the estuarine habitats at the Reserve, data management, science communication, and works with volunteers. Before coming to the Reserve, Katie served with AmeriCorps Cape Cod where she gained experience in natural resource management, natural disaster preparedness and response, and environmental education. She completed a Master’s of Science in Coastal and Marine Environments from the National University of Ireland, Galway and a Bachelor’s of Arts in Environmental Studies from Stonehill College.
